Audio tour National Park Zuid-Kennemerland

This audio tour follows the blue signposted route. You can start this walk at the visitor centre in Overveen (Zeeweg 12, for route planners: Zeeweg 14) or at Parnassia aan Zee (Zeeweg, last exit, after campsite De Lakens). There is paid parking at both locations (from € 2 for half an hour to a maximum of € 10)

The entire route is 9 km long and takes around 3 hours, without breaks. It is also possible to follow just part of the route. A walking map on which the route is marked can be purchased at the visitor centre.

You can do the tour in any order you like, all the year round. 

You do not need to look at your phone. The audio clips work based on GPS coordinates. As soon as you get near one of the points of interest, the audio clip will play automatically. You get to hear interesting facts about the natural environment and the history of the area.

There are 16 points along the route where you will be informed about the things you can see and experience. Here you will discover things that you might otherwise have passed by without noticing.

Before you start, please note:

Dogs are not permitted.

Take the usual precautions. In particular you need to

Keep a distance of at least 25 meters from the large grazers.

Consider others along the route (people and animals).

Bring waterproof clothing and/or sun protection.

Bring enough food and drink.

Respect the natural environment.

Take your litter home.

Abide by the traffic regulations and rules of conduct.
